About me

London Frenchy in India

My name is Coline, and I’m French. I come from a not so small, but not so big city in France, and I have lived in various countries and cities. I stayed for 3 years in London (UK), for 3 months in Vicenza, for 6 months in Reggio Emilia and for 6 months Bologna (Italy). I also spent 3 months in Bilbao and 4 months in Alicante (Spain). In 2019, I moved to Toulouse and I loved it! It felt French, but also reminded me of Italy and Spain. For a year, I moved to a new region, Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes, for a job. But I missed Toulouse too much and decided to go back there. I might have found the right place to put down roots.

I worked as a translator. I speak French, English, Italian and a little bit of Spanish. I know a few words in Russian, Bulgarian, and Japanese, but nothing impressive.

I love discovering new languages and new cultures. I have traveled extensively over the last 10 years (34 countries so far), and these last years, I focused on France that, ironically, I had visited less. In 2018, for my 30th birthday, I did a trip around the world to visit all of my faraway friends.

After eight years as a freelance, I felt like trying something new. It was not easy, because I am interested in many things! I chose communication and marketing, because after all, whether it is translation or marketing, what matters to me is to share. Right now, I work as a Communications Manager.
