Despite being very close to France, Belgium has never really been on my mind. I don’t really know why, to be honest, because it is a fairly interesting country! Plus, some of the people speak French, so it’s easy. Maybe that’s it, too easy.

In 2019, one of my friends was working in Brussels, and it was the push I needed to cross the border to Belgium. And I was not disappointed! Even though I only visited Brussels and Bruges, I definitely had a great time.

That year, I said that I would go back some day to visit more of the Parliament and some other cities. I still haven’t had the time to do it, Covid and all, but I will surely visit Belgium again.
