I travelled only once to Mexico, as part of my trip around the world in 2018.

I went to Merida, to meet a Mexican friend, Cristina, that I had met during one of my first big trip, on the bus from Amsterdam to Berlin. We kept in touch and she invited me to visit her country. Obviously, Mexico is too big to visit in one time, so I focused on Yucatan.

During my stay in Mexico, I had the chance to visit Merida, Izamal, the Celestun Biosphere reserve, Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Valladolid and a bit of Cancun. The Yucatan region is really beautiful and safe, and I hope that I’ll be able to go back to see my friend.
