The Giants of Toulouse

In certain cities of France, you can encounter some very strange creatures. Some small and some giant. One day, you’re walking in the streets of Nantes and you’re suddenly facing a giant elephant. Or you’re chilling in Calais, and a dragon comes at you, breathing fire and smoke. Or you’re in the center of Toulouse and you see a Minotaur on your left.

A Church of Bones in Kutnà Hora

The second time I visited Czech Republic, Kutnà Hora captured my interest with its mysterious ossuary. It is a chapel that is entirely decorated with bones (from more than 40.000 human skeletons!) and with peculiar elements, such as angels. The effect is quite special.

Sintra: A Castle In The Sky

In 2015, I spent 4 days in Portugal, in Lisbon. One day, I can’t recall exactly why, most of the museums and shops were closed in Lisbon, but the attractions of Sintra were open. So I decided to take the train and go there for the day.

The Charming Town Of Český Krumlov

Czech Republic is a beautiful country. And I’m not just talking about Prague. There are many other cities worth a visit, and one of my favourite is Český Krumlov (pronounce “Tsheskee Krumlof”). I spent 2 nights there in April 2016 and loved it!

The Trulli of Alberobello

We walked around the cute streets, amazed by the beauty of the Trulli of Alberobello. There were the regular trulli, some kind of little houses with actually more space inside than expected.
