Guys, I finally made it!!! After failing three times to go to Liguria’s jewel, I got to realize my dream. The first time, my friends bailed on me, the second time, a storm flooded the paths and the third time, well, Covid happened. So this time, I wasn’t sure of anything and I didn’t get my hopes up.
Whenever I drive from Toulouse to Poitiers, to see my parents, I see a lot of signs indicating that are cool places to see. Actually, that’s partly why I decided to visit the Gouffre de Padirac. Another sign I see everytime I drive on that road is “Rocamadour”. In March, as I was going to Poitiers to celebrate my father and my brother’s birthdays, I decided to stop in Rocamadour.
Let’s continue our trip around Iceland’s Golden Circle. Last time, we ended the road at Geysir. Today, I introduce you to Gullfoss, which is really a good start for a Golden Circle since it literally means Golden Falls!
Have you ever heard of Iceland’s Golden Circle? It seems that, when it comes to tourism and geography, we do like geometry and gold.
If Tadoussac and Baie-Sainte-Catherine are well-known for whale watching, there are other places where you can observe them. For example, Iceland! You can book boat trips in Reykjavik or in Akureyri.
In July 2011, I visited Carpi. I had read a story about a family setting up their GPS to go to Carpi instead of Capri and being disappointed.
From Malmö, I take a plane to Stockholm. From the airport, Arlanda Express and I am finally in Sweden’s capital. I leave my stuff in the hostel and walk to the Södermalm district.
From Copenhahen, I take the train to Malmö, in Sweden. After a simple control of my ID, I’m in Sweden. I’ve rarely gone from one country to another this fast!
Kew Gardens seemed really nice. However, for some reason, I never went there. I think it was a bit far from my house. Finally, in 2015, I went to Christmas At Kew with a friend.
