After Luxembourg, I got curious about another country we never talk about: Liechtenstein.

So, in April 2025, I flew to Zurich, took a train and a bus and arrived in Vaduz, the capital. My airbnb was in Triesenberg, another small city, but I took the time to walk around Vaduz and up to its castle before hopping on another bus to Triesenberg.

Triesenberg is absolutely stunning, and I didn’t regret booking my stay there. I couldn’t get enough of the view of the mountains!

That said, once you’ve seen Vaduz and Triesenber, that’s pretty much it. If you’re not hiking or skiing, 2-3 days are enough to visit Liechtenstein. I also went to Schaan, Bendern, and Ruggell, but it was not worth it.

I had a great time, but I’m not sure if I will ever go back to this country.
