Last Sunday, I turned 35. I had no apprehension before turning 30, but as you may know, I traveled the world for 3 months to celebrate.

Why Vianden? Because Victor Hugo had lived there for a while and because there was a Slipknot concert in Luxembourg and all the hotels were full or too expensive.
This year, since I am no longer living in Toulouse but near Lyon, I am closer to Luxembourg. So, I took a few days off to travel by train around Luxembourg,
Ever heard of Esch-sur-Sûre? Probably not. I hadn’t until my Friend Emilie, who knows Luxembourg quite well, suggested it.
I had been wanting to visit Luxembourg for a while, and there was a stop in Metz, to change trains. So, I thought “Why not sleep in Metz and spend a day there?”. I had never been to the city and I always enjoy discovering new places.
Most of you know that the 4th of July is Independence Day in America, but do you know that the 14th of July is France’s National Day? Every year, we celebrate the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789 and the start of the French Revolution.
Recently, I’ve gone to a small aquarium. It could have been pretty boring. BUT I tend to live every moment as an adventure, so it became sort of a quest!
On my way back to El Pas de la Casa and Toulouse, I decided to stop at the Basilica Sanctuary of Meritxell. This basilica is the most important religious place in Andorra and sit architecture is one of a kind.
At the beginning of September 2020, I did a solo road-trip from Toulouse to Andorra. I encountered some difficulties finding my way in Andorra because I had no GPS… I stopped in a tourist office and bought some maps. One of them was the Tristaina lake trail.
