Boat Trip On The Thames: From Hampton Court To Kew Gardens

Last June, England celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Can you imagine? 70 years as a ruler. Can you imagine the UK without the Queen? Well, I was there. Although, I have to admit I was mostly there to see my friend. Still, I enjoyed seeing British people celebrating the Jubilee everywhere! Even on boats! On June 3rd, we traveled to Hampton Court to do a boat trip on the Thames.

This Summer, Love Your Body!

As every Summer, women are expected to look perfect for the bikini season. But I think women (and men) should get a break from looking fabulous (whose idea of fabulous is this, by the way?) and should instead do their best to feel good. The temperatures are already really high, and it’s hard to not feel sweaty when you feel the need to cover yourself… Here are a few ideas to love your body!

The Wonders Of Petra

For a long time, I have admired the Treasury of Petra on calendars and inspirational traveling photos. Despite seeing so many times, I didn’t really look for information about the site. In fact, I thought that Petra was this magnificent door carved in the mountain and just that. In February 2022, I had finished my contract and I was looking for some time off to get some rest before finding my next professional adventure. I hadn’t done any big trip since Covid and I wasn’t too reassured about traveling by myself. So I found an organized trip. And I got the opportunity to travel to Jordan!

Jerash Deserves Your Attention

If I tell you Jordan, what do you think about? Let me guess… Petra? Most of the advertisement for Jordan is about Petra. And this is understandable because this is a stunning park (yes, it’s more than just the door you see on travelling magazines). But, despite being a very small country, Jordan has a lot to offer! And one of the places I was glad I discovered was Jerash!

Porto Venere: A Bonus Village

Originally, I had planned to visit the Cinque Terre until Friday, but given our fast pace and the amazing weather, Anthéa and I had hiked to the last village, Riomaggiore, on Thursday. That meant that I had one bonus day in Liguria. The idea? Going to La Spezia by train, visit the city and the go on a boat trip to see the villages from another point of view.

Hiking The Cinque Terre From Corniglia

Have you ever heard about the Cinque Terre? About Corniglia, Vernazza, Manarola, Riomaggiore and Monterosso? These 5 villages are connected to one another through sinuous paths. You can travel by boat or train to visit them, or even better, you can hike!

The Cinque Terre: Challenge Accepted!

Guys, I finally made it!!! After failing three times to go to Liguria’s jewel, I got to realize my dream. The first time, my friends bailed on me, the second time, a storm flooded the paths and the third time, well, Covid happened. So this time, I wasn’t sure of anything and I didn’t get my hopes up.

Rocamadour: A Blurry Childhood Memory

Whenever I drive from Toulouse to Poitiers, to see my parents, I see a lot of signs indicating that are cool places to see. Actually, that’s partly why I decided to visit the Gouffre de Padirac. Another sign I see everytime I drive on that road is “Rocamadour”. In March, as I was going to Poitiers to celebrate my father and my brother’s birthdays, I decided to stop in Rocamadour.

How To Find Your Next Destination?

More and more people are asking me “How do you know where to go? Where do you find inspiration?”. Honestly, I never had to really look for a destination, it feels like there are always more places I want to visit, it’s endless. However, as this question keeps popping up, I decided I would try to answer it. So, I tried to look into my process, a process I’m not even conscious of.
